I had a lot of fun playing this, there's a bit of an art to finding the right song and slider combination, but when it gets it right, it is very satisfying. I tried with prog-metal, ska-punk, and drum and bass, and got the best results with the last one, probably due to consistent rhythms. Very cool idea to mix the procedural technology and game concept like this too. Only feedback is I'd like to see some quality of life improvements to the menus(took me a long time to realise I could navigate with the arrow keys), but other wise, great stuff! Looking forward to more from this developer!

Thank you so much for the kind review, i'm glad you enjoyed it :) and yes I agree i could improve the UX, I was primarily focused on the level generation and gameplay during this project and would definitely like to update it to make navigation more user friendly.

Hello, I am really enjoying playing this rhythm game, even if there's no crazy gimmicks or mechanics. It's simple gameplay wise but it's really fun being able to play all the songs I actually like listening to lol. I checked out the portfolio link and I think it's rlly cool how this works, although I wish the notes made more sense with what was happening with the song, but that's just because of the different pitches I guess. Cool game; hope to see those long notes in here someday.

Thanks a lot for your review :D, I'm glad you're enjoying it and that you were interested in how the game works.
I agree that  the note generation could be improved, particularly when you aren't experienced with choosing the best settings like I am, I would definitely like to create a tutorial when you first open the game explaining the science behind it.
Besides that, I have been pondering on ways I could improve the
note generation and have some ideas which i will try when i get the time.

Hell yeah that'd be cool. Also yeah i should mess around with the settings and different songs more since I chose some songs that were heavy on vocals. did u just diss me btw bro what the freaky deaky
