Potential Additions:
streamlined song search where you can find your files through typing
A system to make up for input lag
dynamic time between notes based on how much the song is changing at the moment
Option to have a custom image or video in your background which would be useful for song promotion
Option to increase or decrease the number of lanes on the stage from 1-10
An alternate download of the game which includes some songs which are already downloaded and have pre-defined difficulty options, which should lessen confusion for some players
Functionality with youtube links (i know this would be great but its complicated to do)
Sound effects (in menus, option to have sound effects on note clicks)
Ability to make the notes spawn only based on the instrumentals or lyrics (probably do this with some ai thing? id have to look into if that can be implemented in unity).

Optimization (greatly reduced unnecessary render distance)
(SCRAPPED CHANGES DUE TO MAJOR PERFORMANCE BUGS WITH UNITY 6 (the engine basically maxxed out the cpu and gpu on completely unnesacary tasks, for example culling and updating terrain, when there is not a terrain in the game)). sad, it averages 900fps on unity 2022 lol because it genuinely is a very optimised game, i hope this is fixed soon :(
